Music has always been an essential part of my life...
I've been singing and performing from a young age but only began my guitar journey in high school when I bought my first electric guitar. I was working at a local supermarket and after a few months had saved enough to buy a Cort S500. If I look back today, I have to admit that that was probably the worst guitar ever made by Cort (whose guitars are great by the way).
The thing used to detune every couple of hours and its pickups made funny noises. Yet I treasured that shiny black instrument as if my life revolved around it (so would you if you were doing soul deadening work at ridiculously low wages). I fell in love with the feel and sound of the guitar and played for hours on end every day.

I started this site after realising the lack of quality free guitar websites specifically focused on teaching the absolute beginner, or those interested in sharpening their technique a bit. Hope you enjoy!

My life as a musician began after I became a Christian and a worship leader in various churches. Since then I've been blessed to have lived in a few different countries and have performed among and with people of different cultures and languages. I use my guitar to provide my own musical accompaniment when I'm singing and performing. I've had opportunities to sing in front of large audiences as solo artist, or at times as part of a band. My number one fan to date though remains my wife ;-)
