Despite the strange name, the Wildkat is a winner of an instrument that not only looks good, but sounds great as well. A full hollow body with a single cutaway archtop and a two-inch deep body - the Wildkat has a slim neck with a rosewood fretboard that makes the guitar easy and comfortable to play.
The chrome hardware and classy binding gives the guitar that nice 50's feeling that looks good and will produce plenty of compliments.
Sound wise, the guitar is powered by two Alnico V-P 90 pick-up's, and a Bigsby Tremolo with a (permanently) mounted swing arm, that can be compared to a Gretsch design. The P-90's give a clear, pure tone with a real bite.
This is a good guitar for the price and will offer you a lot for the $400 you'll end up paying for a new one.
