Fender Blues DeVille 410 Reissue Guitar Amp

Fender Blues DeVille 410 Reissue Guitar Amp

The Fender Blues DeVille 410 Reissue Guitar Amp, a reinterpretation of the classic Bassman amp, produces 60W into 4-10" Eminence alnico-magnet speakers with an all-tube preamp and power amp. The tube complement features 3 - 12AX7s and 2 - 6L6s. The Blues DeVille has Normal and Drive channels with independent Gain and Master for the Drive channel and a Bright switch for Normal channel. It also has an effects loop, reverb, presence, master volume, 3-band EQ, and Standby switch. Original Blues series styling includes chrome control panel, vintage chicken-head knobs, and, of course, genuine Fender tweed covering.

The Fender Blues DeVille 410 Reissue Guitar Amp is one of a kind. This amp has reinter-preted the vintage character of guitar amplifiers and even goes as far as outdoing many other classic amplifiers.
A serious amplifier for serious guitar players.  This Fender reissue manages to mimic the power of traditional tube amps without all the extra hardware. It is a light and sturdy piece of electronics that is able to give players 60 watts of tube powered fury.

It is also very easy to move, set up and breakdown. In fact it basically only needs you to find your space plug it in, turn it on and you are ready for the show.

When it comes to sound quality, the Blues Deville rocks hard. It has a nice combination of warmth and retro style sonics to it. For almost anywhere the sound output is strong and dynamic, it also handles any effects boxes you put through it like other pro amps.  Both the clean channel and the overdrive, sounds a lot like larger amps when playing through it. It works great with anything from heavy metal distortion rock through twangy phased out blues.

Here's a nice comprehension video review of this amp complimentary of the guys over at ProGuitarShop:
The look and shape of the Fender Blues DeVille is a reworking of another classic device called the Bassman amplifier. Although it is an attempt to reinvent the Bassman classic looks, that by no means takes away from the new Fender style of the Blue DeVille.

Pros

This amp has the power and features that leaves you wondering how the Fender company managed to put it all in one box and still manage to sell it at this cost, which, though not a price range beginner players would probably look at, is still low when comparing the features with other amplifiers offering the same features and quality.  Also, there are very few amps that are new like this model and still offer the tonal qualities it does.  Most that do are usually older and much harder (and more expensive) to come by.

Cons

The only real downside is that it at 60 Watts it's powerful and loud enough for any medium-sized gig, but does not have the power necessary for playing stadiums and large outdoor shows.

Verdict

The Fender Blues DeVille 410 Reissue Guitar Amp is a modern work of art by classic standards. It has all the features, sound quality, great looks and more than economical compared to other guitar amplifiers today. Players will be fully impressed with the way they sound when coming through such a premium amp live, at home or in the studio. Another creative achievement designed by the legendary company that is Fender.
