The Gibson ES 175 is a hollowbody, single sharp cutaway electric guitar with 21 frets with a Rosewood body and a Maplewood fretboard.

It's a superbly constructed with wonderful sound that makes for superb jazz/blues tones.  In fact, if you're a serious Jazz Guitarist, you'll fall in love with this one upon first touch.

After introduction in 1949 this guitar eventually became the most popular jazz guitar ever made.  It provides a wonderful, absolutely clean amplified tone that makes every note sing.

Here's a video of Gregory Hilden from GregsGuitars playing a mellow melody on the Gibson ES 175 with a completely clean sound (no pedal effects).  This video gives you a great idea the beauty of this guitars clean sound:
