The Les Paul Junior has been called the 'official' guitar of the Punk movement and can take a fair amount of heavy playing.

From heavy distortion, to electric blues and punk riffs, there's little this guitar can't handle.

Weighing in at a mere 7 pounds, this Les Paul has a simple but elegant design that provides good resonance coupled with the classic P-90 pickup sound.  Its fretwork is exceptional and the finish absolutely beautiful and flawless.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail on this model is likely to impress any serious guitarist.  So if you're looking for a hard-working electric with class, versatility and a no-fuss design, then this instrument will be ideal for you.

Here's a video of Gregory Hilden from GregsGuitars playing on the Les Paul Junior with both clean and distorted effects:

The solid mahogany body of the Les Paul Special is carved with a double cutaway for amazing upper-fret access, and was given a flat "slab" top for ease of manufacture. The neck is constructed from solid mahogany carved to Gibson's popular "slim taper" profile, which offers a blend of speed and comfort. The neck shape on the Gibson Les Paul Special is an outstanding marriage between the rounded '50s profile and super-slim early '60s profile. An ebony fingerboard enhances note attack and articulation.Dual Gibson P-90 pickups give the Les Paul Special Double guitar a snappy, slightly gritty response, with a chunky midrange, firm lows, and sweet, musical highs. In the bridge position, the P-90 packs plenty of snarly cutting power, while in the neck position it can be surprisingly rich and refined. This Gibson guitar comes with a LP Thinline Case.Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.
