Really nothing fancy here since the picking is just straightforward. Biggest trick might be to get your timing right. Between the different parts of the riff there's about a 4 sec wait, listen to my video or the original by Roy Orbison to get it right.
In the original, Roy's guitarist uses a mild distorted effect when playing the riff and you can do the same, though the riff sounds great whatever way you play it.
