When playing the Em chord shouldn't we use fingers 1&2?

I'm taking the lessons and I see that it would be much easier to switch between Em and G if you use those fingers instead of 3&4. (Which you put in the diagram) in fact, I think that in the video you use 1&2. :)

ANSWER
During the Em guitar lessons video's and diagrams on my site I use the 2&3 fingers (that's the middle and ring fingers). This is the 'correct' way to do it, but it's not set in stone. So if you find using 1&2 easier than you should definitely rather use them.

Personally I use both methods (like I do on some of the other videos, kudos for noticing) and using 1&2 to play Em IS better when you're quickly switching between chords, so go ahead. No problem ;-)
